Hi there! My name is Kennedy Inman, APC, and I work for Creative Center for Wellness in Athens, GA. I work with a lot of different people on a lot of different things. My favorite kind of people are complex and messy! I use various pop culture metaphors and humor in my sessions, and believe that we don't have to be defined by what has happened to us, but what we choose to become moving forward. I use therapy modalities like Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which uses eye movements and narration to enable cognitive reprocessing. I also utilize psychoeducation to help teach and develop coping skills, emotional regulation skills, communication skills, etc. My goal as a counselor is to help you live the life you want to live safely, healthily, and in your own voice.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed techniques. I believe therapy should be an active, empowering process that helps you develop insight and tools that actually work in your daily life. My style is warm, straightforward, and curious. I want you to feel both supported and understood as we work together toward your goals. My Experience I’m a licensed psychologist who provides therapy (ages 12+) and psychological assessment for adolescents and adults. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, identity and relationship concerns, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting clients in recovery from substance use and those within the LGBTQ+ community. Whether through therapy or testing, I strive to help clients gain clarity, confidence, and direction. My Education I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from Marshall University. I completed my predoctoral internship at Valley Health in Huntington, West Virginia, and my postdoctoral training at Marshall Psychiatry/Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. What to Expect from Me I bring a warm, authentic, and collaborative style to therapy. You can expect a space that balances compassion with curiosity—where you’ll feel heard and supported, but also challenged in ways that promote growth and insight. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way of your goals and develop strategies that fit your life and values. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to make therapy accessible and flexible for your needs. Whether you’re seeking therapy, assessment, or consultation, I look forward to partnering with you on your path toward greater understanding and well-being.
I work with young adults who want to improve their quality of life by building skills to manage anxiety, stabilize their mood, navigate life stressors, and strengthen communication. I provide counseling in Dallas, Georgia, and online therapy across Georgia. It’s not always easy to ask for help, and I recognize the courage it takes to share your personal thoughts with someone new. I create a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly, explore what’s holding you back, and learn tools to shift unhelpful thought patterns toward greater clarity, balance, and peace. Effective 10/18/25 I'm available Saturdays!

My focus is on developing healthy habits and self enlightenment. I am not afraid of discussing painful or difficult issues and can handle hard emotions. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR for trauma if necessary. I encourage time in the natural world, teach mindfulness and use humor as much as possible.

Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.
Life can often feel messy and chaotic. My passion is to help bring order out of chaos to facilitate growth and peace. Many of my clients present with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stressful life transitions and circumstances, or they report feeling a little “off” and are seeking help to feel more like themselves again. I work best with clients who are engaged and motivated to see changes in their lives, and I have a great love for coming alongside people to help them move towards becoming the best version of themselves. My goal is shalom, the Hebrew word for peace, wholeness and universal flourishing. If you’re feeling stuck and are looking for a way to help jumpstart your life, I am just a quick message or brief consultation away!
Greetings! Secular psychotherapist here. Is taking care of everyone but yourself breaking you down? Tired of being called “co-dependent”? Do you have beliefs that are different from others and feel a little “off”? Are you becoming more and more anxious or depressed? You're not alone. I help those looking for a professional confidant and can help with processing difficult transitions and even traumas. Perhaps you are having difficulty with relationships due to a past that seems ever so present. My therapeutic style is empathetic and interpersonal. I use evidence-based talk therapy (Acceptance & Commitment, Narrative, etc.) and mindfulness techniques. I believe in our getting to know one another well over time. My name is Shannon (she/her), and I came into this field, as many mental health professionals do, in response to my own inner demons and trauma. I have a passion for women’s issues, the queer population, and folx affected by sexual trauma and domestic violence. I am a single mom with two small kids, two cats, and a rambunctious dog, so needless to say I understand the strain of trying to balance a busy life. My approach to therapy is grounded in CBT and feminist therapy, with a few sprinkles of radical acceptance and dark humor. I am also a firm believer that my client is the expert on their own life, and I am happy to adjust my styles and/or make more appropriate referrals when I am not the right fit.
