Welcome to a Space for Growth and Balance! Hi, I’m an LCSW providing virtual therapy throughout Georgia. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with college students to support them through the transitions and challenges of college life. Whether you’re starting college, navigating its ups and downs of a new normal, anxious,l depression, or preparing for life after graduation, I’m here to help you find balance, clarity, and confidence. I know prioritizing yourself can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. As a wife, mother, and professional, I understand how easy it is to put your needs last. But here’s the truth: investing in yourself is not only worthwhile but essential for creating meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a convenient, safe, and compassionate virtual space where you can focus on your personal growth. Using approaches grounded in CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I’ll meet you where you are, tailoring our work together to your unique needs. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or navigating relationship challenges, I’m here to help you take small, meaningful steps toward the change you’re seeking. During our sessions, you’ll have a space where you can be heard and validated without judgment. You’ll leave feeling a sense of relief, empowered with tools to navigate life’s challenges, and clearer about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Over time, these insights will help shift your perspective, improve your mood, and bring the change you want to see in your life. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning for a fresh start, I believe a new normal is possible. Together, we can practice skills that promote balance and resilience. Let’s work toward a life where your needs are valued, your boundaries respected, and your path to wellness supported. Change is possible. Let’s take the first step together.
Children and young adults have such unique issues to navigate in today’s world. As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, I want to create a space for children and young adults to process where they are no matter what that looks like. As a therapist, I specialize in working with clients that struggle with anxiety, depression, life changes and adjustment to different phases and stages of life. Young people are constantly growing and changing. I work with clients to process their growing pains through self-expression. As a former school counselor, I have a heart for helping young people overcome challenges and realize their strengths. Expressive arts and creativity are often at the core of our sessions. Whether that is writing, drawing, or other forms of art, we can use those skills to help you process and externalize even the most challenging emotions. My biggest goal is for you to be able to utilize your passions in the healing process. Ultimately, therapy is a brave space where I guide you in taking ownership of your story and experiences. It would be an honor to start that journey with you! When I am not with clients, I spend my time supporting my alma mater, the University of Georgia! Go dawgs!! I am currently under the supervision of Catherine Baxter, CPCS 2069.
I'm passionate about working with college students and recent grads. The transition from being a dependent to independent adult occurs rapidly while you're attending college and again once you graduate. It's common to experience anxiety and depression in the form of worrying about everything under the sun or feeling down more often than usual to simply feeling overwhelmed 24/7. I'm here to walk with you through those feelings, give you skills to cope with them, and process them along the way.
Are you struggling with racing thoughts of worry and stress, feeling like you’re about to crawl out of your own skin? Or perhaps you’re an athlete overwhelmed by the constant pressure to perform at 100%, with no room for an off-day, fearing that losing a part of your identity feels like the end of the world? These feelings can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate alone. That’s why I’m here—to offer a helping hand tailored to your unique needs, supporting you every step of the way!
Hello! My name is Mike and I have been working as a therapist since I graduated with my Master’s in Applied Clinical Psychology from USC Aiken in 2022. Prior to this I attended The Ohio State University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I have worked as a therapist in a university psychology clinic, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, in the community with children and teens, and currently in the prison system. I feel as though working in these different settings with clients from different backgrounds has helped me be the best therapist possible. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen as a whole, complex person—not just defined by their past. In therapy, it’s important to me that clients feel fully understood and respected for who they are in all their layers. I'm really passionate about exploring the different parts of my clients' identities and how the world around them shapes their experiences. I take an approach that blends attachment, mindfulness, and cultural awareness. I truly believe that our childhood and adolescent experiences can give us important clues about our present behaviors and patterns. I also think that trauma can be passed down from generation to generation, both physically and mentally, and it’s something that often shows up in our lives in unexpected ways. I have a deep compassion for victims and survivors of emotional, physical, financial, sexual, and verbal abuse. I’m a strong advocate for raising awareness about intimate partner violence and unhealthy relationships. I work with clients to heal from their trauma, set healthy boundaries, and speak up for themselves. I want all my clients to feel empowered during their entire therapy journey, and I put a lot of importance on honoring their autonomy. I believe that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s my job to create a space where each person can find their own path to healing. I also love bringing in multicultural and diverse healing approaches. I offer a space where clients can bring their spiritual or religious beliefs into therapy if they choose. Creativity plays a big role in healing for me—whether it’s through visual arts, performing arts, writing, storytelling, music, or just being in nature. I think meditation can come in all sorts of forms, and I encourage clients to find what works for them. I’m certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and I have experience in suicide prevention and intervention. I have specific, advanced training in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), which is the gold standard for treating OCD. Outside of work, you can find me junk journaling or scrapbooking, doing yoga, styling clothes, or dancing around. I received both my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Agnes Scott College.
Clients that I work with might fit into these categories: - Adults ages 18-35 - Queer - Trans - ADHD - Religious Trauma - Anxiety - Depression - Burn out/Stress - People Pleasing

As a therapist, I specialize in supporting people who feel trapped by anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and past trauma. I work with clients of all ages who find themselves overwhelmed by fears, stuck in cycles of perfectionism, coping with life transitions, or navigating complex relationships. My main goal is to help create and cultivate a space that feels authentic and safe, and I draw on a bunch of different modalities (ACT, CBT, DBT) to meet my clients where they are at. I love working with students because I too was just a student, and I know firsthand the challenges of trying to meet external, academic pressures, navigate relationships, and trying to manage and balance mental health struggles.
